Nike Dunk High Pro SB "Seahawks"

Here is my second pickup from September and my second pair of Dunks...When I saw these, I had to have them...The colors are just amazing!!! The retailed for $93 and I got them on sale for $75 so it was a pretty sweet deal that I couldn't pass up...Check out the pics after the jump...What do you think of these??

Nike Dunk High Premium SB "Reign In Blood"

So we continue on with the 2nd pickup from July as I introduce to my collection for the 1st time a pair of Dunks...These are not any ordinary pair, these are special...This was a collaboration with Nike SB and Brooklyn Projects and was dedicated to the heavy metal band Slayer...The colors on these are simply amazing and the materials are definitely premium...I knew If I was going to get into the Dunk craze, my first pair would have to be special and these certainly fit that build...I can honestly say that there will be plenty more Dunks added to my collection soon enough...My search for these shoes began and hopes were shot down pretty quickly until I came across a pair on eBay...I decided that I wanted them so bad that I couldn't wait for the auction to end or want to have a bidding war with anyone...So I decided to email the seller and ask him how much would it take for him to end the auction and sell me the shoes...He hit me back and said $150 and when I read that I immediately replied back, "I'LL TAKE THEM!!!" I've seen a ton of pairs sell for well over $200 so this was a pretty sweet deal and I could not pass on it...We completely the transaction and a few days later, I had my pair...Immediately after opening the box, another photoshot commenced...lol...As well as the creation of my first youtube pickup video...Take a look at the pics of these amazing shoes and watch my youtube video...Also stay tuned as I begin my quest for more Dunks as well as other fresh kicks...I'll be back soon...

Nike Foamposite Pro "Electric Blue"

So here we are, August 6th, two days away from my 33rd Birthday and I realized I have not had a new blog entry in over a month...So basically, I had 2 pickups in the month of July...The first I'm going to show you are the Electric Blue Foams which alot of people went ape shit for and when you see the pictures, it's pretty obvious why...These joints are HOT!!! These are another pair of foams to add to my collection...It was not long ago where I was messing around with photoshop and actually made this color before I knew these were dropping so I guess my wish came true...Believe it or not, my wife actually likes these too...LOL...When I heard these were dropping, I had to have them...So I contacted my bro to let him know that I needed these...As always, he came through and made a special delivery to me on the day before they released...Completely unexpected, he pulls up to the house and texts me telling me to come outside and BAM, he hands me the box...I couldn't wait to get inside and open them...So I did that and a photoshoot commenced...LOL...So check the photos after the jump and let me know what you think...Stay tuned for pickup #2 for July and I'll be back soon...

Nike Air Foamposite One "Cough Drop"

As I told you in my previous post, memorial day weekend was a great weekend for me as far as sneaker pickups go...That monday, the wife and I decided to take the kids and go over to the Bergen Town Center in Paramus, NJ...There is a Nike Outlet there so I went in to look around for a bit...As I was leaving the store, something on the rack caught my eye so I turned back...I was very surprised to find these there...They had plenty of sizes included my size...The retail price on these is $200 and when I saw that they were on sale for $119.99 I had to have them...So I went through a couple different size 11 pairs to find a pair that had not been tried on by that meaning the shoe trees were still inside and the shoes were still factory laced...Grabbed a size 11 that I felt good about, checked out, and went on my way with another pair of Foams to add to my collection...Check out the pics of these bad boys after the jump and I'll be back soon with another post...

Nike Air Max 90 "New York Knicks"

So last weekend my wife had some visitors from down south come up and stay with us for the weekend...They wanted to check out the city so we decided to take them in...They ended up stopping at a couple of their favorite stores and making some purchases so I felt that I should stop at my favorite store, Foot Locker, and possibly make a purchase myself...We were down in the West Village and when they were all done doing their shopping, we hopped the train up to 86th and Lexington and visited Foot Locker...It just so happens that my brother is the store manager so it was nice visiting him as always...I spent a little while BSing with my bro and looking around the store and I spotted these Air Max 90s in a New York Knicks colorway....I'm not a very big running shoe guy, I'm focused more towards basketball kicks but these were dope!!! He had my size so I tried them on and loved them...I didn't have to think twice and I copped them...They ended up costing me $70 and I grabbed a pair of black/red Jordan socks to match with some of my other kicks...Check out the pics of these kicks after the jump and stay tuned for another pick up because that weekend was a great weekend and I copped another special pair of kicks for a great price...Be back soon!!!

Nike LeBron 8 V2 "All Stars"

So I'm back again with another pick up and the story behind it...A little over a week ago, I heard about the Sole Collectors website so I decided to check it out...They have an online Marketplace where people post items for sale mostly kicks...I've been wanting to get my hands on a pair of LeBron 8 All Stars but as usuall did not have the funds available when they were originally released not to mention they were very limited so it would have been difficult to get them anyways...I found a guy on the marketplace (juntao444) from Cali that had them in my size 11.5 and was asking $175 shipped for them...I was searching for these kicks online and found them going for as high as $275 without shipping so this was a deal I could not pass up...I sent a pm to the guy and submitted an offer...He did not accept my first offer before it expired but he emailed me and asked If I was still interested to submit the offer again...So I did, he accepted and I sent the money to him via paypal...I sent him a message telling him that I sent the money and to please provide me with a tracking...I did not hear back from him at all and to this day have still not heard from him...I sent him numerous emails and PMs with no response so I began to worry that I got taken for my money...So today a large package arrives at my door...My worries turned into anger when I saw that the person decided to just tape up the shoe box and mail it that way instead of double boxing it and shipping it to me...All sneakerheads know that the packaging on these All Stars are just as special as the shoes themselves...So you can understand why I'm pretty pissed about it but overall I got a really good deal on the shoes and the shoes are in brand new deadstock condition...As I write this, they are on my feet which immediately took them out of deadstock condition...lol...These shoes are amazing!!!
